Learn about working in a professional photographic studio, lighting, working with models, make up and people in the fashion industry.

As per all of our Joburg Photowalkers event, this event is driven by participation on our facebook fan page and on our google group.

We’re doing a larger scale location fashion photo shoot event in November.. so this is our chance to learn a few things on a smaller scale first.

The four day fashion showcase features the nation’s best designers unveiling their creative forecast of the season’s trends, to a global audience of media, fashion buyers, and fashion consumers. This visual feast will grant attendees a sneak preview into the upcoming season.

AFI’s vision is to be globally recognised as the leading authority on African fashion-related strategic marketing initiatives and African fashion brands. AFI aims to improve the quality of fashion design output from Africa, to promote African brands, and to dramatically raise the profile of fashion designers from the continent.
